As recovery develops in the coming years, the need for financial gifts will only grow. While the Santiam Canyon LTRG does not directly accept donations, we direct those interested in donating to our partners that do. Visit their websites for more in-depth descriptions on how gifts are accepted and funds are used.
The Santiam Canyon Wildfire Relief Fund (SCWRF) was established established on September 11, 2020.
Their mission is to support residents living in the Santiam Canyon who are affected by Lionshead and Beachie Creek wildfires by raising funds to provide relief, support the recovery and clean up, and assist in the rebuild of our communities including Idanha, Breitenbush, Detroit, Niagara, Gates, Mill City, Lyons, and Mehama, Oregon.
100% of all donations submitted will go to directly benefit members within our community.
The Detroit Lake Foundation was created to increase the livability and community cohesiveness for the community of Detroit, Oregon by providing additional funding sources for city beautification projects and community based programs and activities that are not in the city's funding abilities.
It’s mission is to enhance the quality of life for residents and establish a sustainable economic recovery to ensure that the city thrives for current and future generations.
100% of proceeds donated will go to the Detroit Lake Foundation to assist in the rebuild of the Detroit, Oregon community and infrastructure.
The Mid-Valley Relief Fund was created by United Way of the Mid-Willamette Valley to support recovery efforts in the region.
Currently, they are facilitating Long Term Recovery by structuring the effort to support families and communities by working with nonprofit partners, county, city and federal teams to help our friends rebuild and thrive. This effort will continue for the next four to six years.
