Kevin Dial, Recovery Manager
Colonel Retired Kevin Dial is an Oregon Native who enlisted in the Marine Corps 1982 and later came into the Army National Guard. He has served in the Enlisted and Officer ranks, being branch qualified as both Armor and Engineer. Over his 35 years of service, he held several key positions, to include combat service in Afghanistan during 2011 where he led Soldiers from the National Guard, Active Army, Army Reserves and United States Air Force. His last assignment was as the Deputy Director for Operations and Training for the Oregon Army National Guard. For his service he received many ribbons and accolades but is most proud of his family. He has three sons and numerous other young men and women which have served or are currently serving in the military that call him dad.
He is now employed doing with the Santiam Canyon Long Term Recovery Group as their Recovery Manager, while also serving current and retired service members through numerous volunteer positions. He is the executive director for the 501.c.3 “Serving our Veterans at Home”, he is the Vice President of Awards for the Columbia River Chapter of the Association of the United States Army, he sits on the Oregon National Guard Retiree Council and is voting member for the Oregon Service Members Relief Fund.
